Whether you are a regular at St. John’s or just checking us out, our web site should give you the information that you need to let you know what’s going on and how you might get connected.

St. John’s Church is part of the Presbyterian Church of Scotland but our congregation is made up of people from many church backgrounds and none. This is an exciting and challenging time for the St. John’s family as we seek to move forward in God’s plan for us.

Our Mission Statement: “As gifted by the Father, and following the leading of His Spirit, we seek the building up of Christ’s church in love, reaching out with the Good News of Jesus Christ to the community of Port Ellen and beyond, all for God’s glory”.

We meet for Sunday Morning Worhip every week at 11.30am and St John’s Church building is always open for personal prayer and meditation.  Visitors to Islay are most welcome to join us at any of these services or events!

St John’s church is in the parish of Kildalton and Oa which is linked with the The Round Church, Bowmore in the parish of Kilarrow and Jura Parish Church on the island of Jura.
